Duration: Half day walk.

Directions: From Petworth take A285 south to Heath End, then turn left to Burton Mill. Park in car park on the left opposite Pond.

Habitat: Easy walking round pond and woodlands. Can be wet and muddy.

Attractions: In winter siskins, redpolls, other finches, thrushes and crests. Ducks on pond plus possibly kingfisher and bittern.

Amenities: No facilities. Bring lunch.
