We are Guildford & District Local Group
We are an active Local Group of the RSPB, the wildlife charity whose main emphasis is to support birds and their habitats. Members of the group are encouraged to be RSPB members. Visitors are welcome to any of our events.
By joining our group you may:
- Enjoy our twice-monthly (Sept.-May) entertaining indoor meetings covering a wide range of bird and wildlife-related topics.
- Enjoy the company of other members of the group on some of our around 50 walks.
- Improve your identification skills.
- Join others on our coach trips to various locations.
- Help raise funds for the RSPB.
- Enjoy our comprehensive quarterly newsletter.
- Come on a holiday with us, either in the UK or overseas.
- Join our online group to share wildlife sightings.
- Get access to our extensive list of local places to see birds.
- Attend some of our workshops.
You are most welcome to join us whether a new or experienced birdwatcher. If new to birdwatching, then we will do our best to help you. If experienced we look forward to learning from you.
