The birding at this iconic reserve is at its best in midwinter. There will be Bewick’s Swans present as well as large flocks of migrant geese such as White-fronted and Barnacle with an excellent chance of rarer species. There will be many overwintering waders and ducks. We are likely to see Common Cranes and there is always a chance of a Glossy Ibis.

Time:  The coach will leave at 8.00am from the Guildford Spectrum and start the return at 3.30pm.
