Directions: Take B367 Ripley to Pyrford road, park in small car park on left hand side before traffic lights at Pyrford Bridge. Tannery parking: GU23 7EF. You will see from the map that from the Send direction Tannery Lane bends sharp right just after the Tannery Works. There are marked visitor spaces there which should be the first option. There are more spaces just as you reach the Works which can be used as overspill.

Habitat:  Lake, river, farmland and scrub, walking on usually muddy paths (a few stiles).

Attractions:  Winter thrushes, water birds, possible owls, siskins and redpolls.  Ducks on lake.
